Hemp 3D printing filament produced from USA-grown and processed industrial hemp. Hemp filled filament is a composite made of biodegradable thermoplastic and short hemp fiber. Hemp filament uses no dyes, allowing it to maintain a true natural brown. It’s almost iridescent in its ability to showcase different shades and densities within the same printed object. There’s a large amount of visible bio-fill, something you don’t get with standard PLA.

Hemp filament can be printed on any machine capable of printing with PLA using standard PLA settings. It prints rigid parts with little to no warping or curling and is physically strong.

Here are some tips and tricks for using our Hemp 3D printer filament.

Print Settings

Hemp filament prints well at 180-210 C. In general, a good starting point is 10 degrees cooler than you typically print PLA. A heated bed is not necessary, though if you have one, set it to 45 C.

Filament Information

Diameter Tolerance:Variable diameter can cause big problems in your 3D printer. We use a multi-axis laser measurement system to control our filament diameter and ovality in real time during production. Every spool has the diameter and ovality measurementslisted right on the box.

Packing Information:A500g (1.1lbs), 1kg or 4kg of Hemp Filamentplastic filament arrives on an easy-to-useplastic reel and is vacuum sealed with a desiccant packet to keep out any moisture.
